So I thought you all might like an update on the new album. The recording process has finally finished, eveything is recorded, yeah!! The band have recorded 16 new songs, as you know they did most of the recording in Los Angeles, at a great studio called Seedy Underbelly. The new songs were produced by John Travis who has done a fantastic job of getting the songs on tape and keeping the band off the margeuritas!! The band then did some final touches in London at a studio called The Dairy. We are now mixing the record, some in Los Angeles with Tim Palmer and some in Vancouver with Mike Fraser, it wont be too long before we have the tracks finished. More news and maybe some sneak previews on this site soon, it will be worth the wait, trust me.

I know some of you are aware of the radio station Planet Rock, they have been supporting The Answer since day one. They were recently threatened with closure but it has been bought and is still rocking the airwaves, albeit digitally. The station has been nominated for a BT Digital Music Award so it would be great if you could go vote for them, we need stations like this. The shop has had new software installed so it should be seamless using it now, the new version should be online by friday this week so check it out. Most items on the shop will now be cheaper and you should get them quicker. If you have been listening to Planet Rock you may have heard them playing tracks from the Xmas party last year when Paul Rodgers joined the band on stage, well we found some one with a bootleg of this gig and have arranged to appropriate the stock that was pressed. Basically there are 2000 cd's of this gig that will be on sale on our web site shop in about ten days time. Once we are sure the shop is working properly they will be sold there, as I said there are about 2000 and this will be a one off so keep your eyes peeled, if you were not there I can tell you it was a special night.

On the live front we have confirmed shows up to December 16th in Dublin, we are planning loads more shows through next year and maybe even a few more this year, more news as we confirm them. Keep checking the gig page for a list of all the confirmed shows. After 10 months off the road the guys are itching to get back out and play some rock n roll for you all.
