NEWS - So things at The Answer hq have been a little chaotic as you can imagine. there is so much news to catch up on, AC/DC tour, Letterman and so much more. Some of you will be well aware of what has been happening but a good way to stay on top of news is via the Royal Artist Club link on this news page, keep an eye on it. So the tour has been going great, a big shout to all the people who are getting there early to check the band out. Letterman was a complete blast, check out The Answer's youtube channel and you will find the performance is there. The guys are heading home today for a well earned 10 day rest, then back to America on January 4th to rejoin the AC/DC tour. So more news below in brief.
GIGS - The band have confirmed that they will be the main support on the AC/DC European shows at least until April 24th which is great news. The bad news is the shows are all completely sold out, dont worry though because we are in the process of booking our own shows on the days off during the AC/DC tour, more news on these gigs early in January. We have also confirmed a New York club show for Feb 3rd at the infamous Mercury Lounge. The Dingwalls show on Feb 12th is sold out now, there may be returns on the day if you call the venue. MUSIC - The Never Too Late E.P. is out in America and doing well, there will be some on the band shop soon. Some of you know that the new album is called 'EVERYDAY DEMONS', well if you didnt you do now. Early in January I will start posting sleeves, track listings and other info right here. Until then make sure you check out www.theanswer.tv where you can download one of the new tracks, Highwater or Hell.
WEBSITE - There is content being added to the vault almost daily now, go and have a wander round. The shop has now been split into two, one for USA/Rest of world and one for Europe, this will make things much easier for people wanting to order outside of Europe. If you see things on the European site that are not on the USA site send us an email and we will try to add them.

A CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FROM THE BAND
So here we are again, the end of another year in the life of The Answer. For me these twelve months can be split into two parts. There was the first period in which we were vigorously attempting to create the album of the decade (while still maintaining our artistic integrity of course!) and there was this second part which we are currently still very much engrossed in, a 43 date tour of the states with AC/DC. We have made a lot of great friends along the way. There was our first pool party in Austin Texas back in March, which was an eye opener to say the least. The six weeks spent in L.A. recording Everyday Demons was an intensely enjoyable experience we will never forget. We even managed to squeeze a couple of Belfast gigs in, which as always did not disappoint. The Black Ice tour however which began way back in October and runs for the foreseeable future has been bigger, louder and more earth shatteringly rocking than any project we have partaken in before. I think its safe to say that we are ready for a few Christmas pints in Quinns Bar Newcastle and a night in a proper bed. As a final note before the festive spirit takes over in a hail of hot whiskies and pub sing songs I just want to say to all you loyal Answer supporters out there that we appreciate everything you have done and continue to do for us. You are the people that make it all possible and keep this boat afloat. We are gonna be squeezing in as many of our own headline shows as we possibly can over the next few months so we will see you soon. But in the meantime keep those everyday demons at bay and have a rockin Christmas. We love you!!! X - Cormac (the one who sings a bit)
