So James's hand has got a lot worse, after the Dublin show he was in agony and is at the hospital now and it looks like he has broken something..... So we have no choice but to reschedule the Belfast, Nottingham and Glasgow shows that were planned for this week. The Belfast show has been rescheduled for Monday June 29th, Glasgow Classic Grand will now be on July 2nd and Nottingham Rescue Rooms will be on July 3rd.
The band are gutted about this, they had been really looking forward to playing a full set to you guys but it is going to have to wait.
"We are bitterly disappointed to have to postpone our UK headline shows especially for all our fans who have been waiting so patiently for so long. We have left the decision until the last minute in the hope that the problem with James's hand got better but is has got worse and he is in immense pain. He has struggled through the last few sets supporting AC/DC and whilst he has been able to play a short 30 min set it is now impossible for him to play a proper set. We are all very upset that we cannot play these shows and they will all be rescheduled as soon as is possible. Furthermore as a token of our appreciation to all our fans who bought tickets to these shows we will be giving away a limited item to any one who shows up for the rescheduled gigs. Once again we are very sorry about this but you know we would never postpone any show unless it was an absolute necessity. we are all hoping that James will make a speedy recovery" CORMAC NEESON.
More news as we have it.....
Peace...db
