Holy crap...that some kind of a road trip
How about our rail trip...
...theres a train service that runs called Hull Trains...
but the one we were booked on, on the Friday was cancelled...soooo
..they told us there would be another one half an hour later...and we could get on that one...soooo we were put on it....
...with all the people already booked on that one the train was quite busy...
we set off and a little later...the conductor made the following announcement...
"due to engine difficulties at Doncaster everyone will have to vacate the train and wait for the next one "
"please wait at platform 3b...and another train will be along in 40 minutes"
...as you can imagine...we were not very happy...but we did as asked...
2 minutes before the train pulled in (which was over 10mins late)..we were asked to move platforms...soooo
...over everyone went...the train pulled up...hurrah we were going to make it to the gig....
..got on only to discover there were no seats..and nowhere to put any cases or bags...
...after the train set off we were asked...
" if anyone would like to get off at the next stop and wait another 20 minutes for the next one..?"
...can you guess our answer...?
Sooooo back to my original question...

'How many trains does it take to get from Hull to London?'...
TOO BLOODY MANY!!!

...anyway rant over...and just got to Friday gig in the nick of time...phew!!!

It was lucky anyway that Iceland's volcano didn't reactivate :D
My friend flied for 30 hours in total(24 hours + 6 hours delay).
She was nearly loosing her consiousness I guess (No Sleep 'til Sheepwalk! \m/).

Here're some pics of the night.
Both Rowse and Jettblack were good bands(bonus)!
Cormac's shirt became "transparent" by the end of the gig...
Great show, Great band, what can I say? Goose bumps even if it was soooo hot!!!

Nice! I was also liking the sound of the intro of the next one, "Use Me" I believe, based on the set list. Did you get a full video of that one as well?

My hobby is making audio recordings of bands, mostly around London. I am completely non-profit, and have been doing this for 8 years.

I have recorded The Answer a couple of times before, back in 2006/2007, but given them a miss of late. Couldn't miss them playing a tiny pub in East London, and I have a reasonable recording of the Sheep Walk gig.

My question is not to do with the spreading of unofficial live recordings (which obviously I think is a good thing), but I am always hesitant where there are unreleased songs (of which there were a couple played that night). On this I would like some feedback.

Thanks,

Humbug

Hey,
The band are not at all keen on new songs being circulated before they are released. We hope you understand.
Peace
