TWO SECRET SHOWS

So the guys are busy crafting the next masterpiece at home in County Down. They will be doing two festivals this summer, Willowstone and Hi Voltage, see gigs page for full info. In the meantime there are two small shows to let you know about. First one will be in Belfast on June 16th, they will be playing a short set at the Oh Yeah Music Centre, it's on Gordon Street. This is a private launch party, the Lord Mayor and various local dignatories are attending to mark the launch of the new look centre. The Answer were asked to take part and the guys are going to blast thru 6 songs. The public are not able to buy tickets but I have 12 pairs to give away. The first 12 people to email me on barneyb@dsl.pipex.com and tell me the name of the band's debut album will get a pair of tickets. The event kicks off at 8.30 pm, so if you cant get there dont email me. If you are one of the lucky ones I will email you back and let you know.
The second show is on July 23rd, I cant tell you any more at this point other than to say if you were coming to Hi Voltage or you live in London, watch this space and keep that night free...

IRISH + UK SHOWS

We have confirmed our only two gigs for the summer, one in Northern Ireland and one in London. Both are festivals, Willowstone is a very cool music and arts festival and High Voltage is ROCK! See gig page for full info on both shows. Meanwhile the band are busy crafting more songs for the next album, keep an eye on the Nokia blog and Facebook for updates. So far so good, more news as we have it.

FIRST GIGS CONFIRMED

GIG NEWS - So we have finally confirmed the first shows of 2010, we are off to Spain in March and we are also playing at the High Voltage Festival in London in July. Check out the gigs section for full info, see you down the front. A big thanks to every one who made it along to the Haiti benefit and a big thanks to David and Dino and all the people who put that show on. It seems they have raised well over £20,000. We are going to confirm some more shows soon so watch this space.
OTHER NEWS - The band are getting stuck in to the process of writing a new album back at home so more news on that soon. we are also looking at all the footage that has been shot over the last 18 months so you never know, there may be something for you all to look at later this year.
